This is a picture taken outside the Supreme Court in Washington D.C. after the Supreme Court hearing that legalized gay marriage in the U.S. on June 26, 2015. This picture shows the massive crowd outside the Supreme court building, most celebrating the ruling, some protesting the ruling. Different people celebrate in different ways, some hugging and kissing their significant others, some hugging their friends and the random people around them, some are just smiling and cheering. The people in this picture just learned that they, or people they love, can now marry the person they love. Other members and allies of the LGBT+ community all over the U.S. and the rest of the world rejoiced along with these people, as they saw this historic step toward equality take place. This was a huge moment for the LGBT+ community, because although it is not, by any stretch of the imagination, full equality, it's a massive step toward equality and inclusion for LGBT+ people.
