assignment 3 - Will Blitch

I do not think that there is a definite separation of good and evil. Most times things fall into ambiguous grey areas that often can be determined as good or evil depending on what someone’s personal ideals are. For example if a drug dealer is shot and killed then some people might say that it is a good thing because he is a no-good drug dealer and others would say it is evil because some one’s life was wasted and that they had the potential to redeem themselves. There are however things that the vast majority of society have agreed are evil, like rape, murder, and cannibalism. But these conceptions of evil are based on what society has taught us to think. As terrible as it is, some people may no think that there is a problem with killing someone (especially if it is a case where the victim is someone that some people say deserve to die).
