Assignment 3- Paige Barricklow

I believe there is such a thing as good and evil, but I don't think there is anything or anyone that is totally good and totally evil. It's not always a clear cut question, every person in this world has at least a little bit of good and a little bit of evil in them. Just because you are generally a good person who does their best, doesn't mean you can't make mistakes and do something bad. Even people who society sees as pure evil, did some good things, and even though those good things may not make up for the bad things, they did exist. Adolf Hitler, a terrible man who did terrible things to millions of people, specifically killing millions of Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals, and disabled people, did bring his country out of a massive economic depression and created a booming economy. Hitler is still a terrible man who did this through terrible means, but not everything he did was bad. Lance Armstrong was seen as a pretty good guy. He raised money and awareness for cancer research for,but then it turned out that he was taking performance enhancing drugs. So even a person seems really good or really evil has a little of both in them.
