On October 10, 1899 (100 years ago on my birthday), Issac R.
Johnson patented the bicycle frame, which could be separated or folded to store
in the trunk of a car or other small place, and is often viewed as the same bicycle
we use today. I believe this was good, as I love riding bicycles. They are an
efficient and cost-effective way to travel. Bicycles have allowed people to
travel to places that would otherwise have been difficult to trek on foot. They
have allowed people to explore new places that they have wanted to go to. They
also allow people to go meet their friends and family. Cities have now created
bike lanes on the streets and bike trails for people to use. People even
deliver mail via bikes. I appreciate this event because it has allowed me to
bond with my friends and family. We can spend time together by riding our
bikes. It is also a way for me to live a healthy life style, as I can bike
whenever I want to exercise.
