I have many fears, but snakes, fire, and drowning/ suffocating are probably some of the worst. First of all, snakes, they are hella creepy and many can kill you instantly (or soon after). They slither around on the ground like no other animal. Snakes kill in so many ways- which makes them so scary. Biting, poison, suffocating, eating, etc. are all possible deaths by snake. Fire, on the other hand, offers a different level of fear. You can’t touch it without getting hurt, and it can cause a tremendous amount of destruction. Aside from killing you, it can turn into massive forest fires, which is left uncontrolled, can be disastrous. Drowning, which is pretty much just suffocation under water, poses a different fear. It’s a part of fear of death, suffocation leads to death, but in a dreadful way. Your brain is still working, and you’re still conscious, but you know you're going to die soon without oxygen, which to me, is a terrible and frightful way to go.
