Assignment 10- Annie Varner
I recently discovered that Mr. Logsdon's seating chart is one that is fluid in nature, changing and shifting every day and altogether fitting Logsdon's relaxed disposition (and partly due to the fact that a large number of students in First Hour refuse to ride UK's "fit-bikes"). I usually prefer this loose environment, until recently, I found myself stranded and --quite honestly-- completely despondent when I walked in this morning to see that--no other but Safal Dumre himself-- has absolutely stolen my chair. So, lucky you!!!, I will tell you all about Safal Dumre, the "GOAT", as some might say. Safe Dumre: I've had a few classes with good ole Safal, and he's always been there for me. Although we have never been engaged in a conversation that is not school-related, I appreciate the help he's been able to offer throughout the years. It is comforting knowing that his quiet aide will always be to the rescue when my own feeble mind cannot fathom the arduous tasks of junior year. But there he sat, grinding away at some AP extra credit assignment, while also making small talk with his best friend, Saurav, and listening to music at the same time. I wonder what Eminem song he was listening to. Not that anything is wrong with Eminem, I just feel like Safal would be the type of guy to pump himself up for a big day at school with some classic Eminem or maybe even a couple Pitbull hits. And thats just because thats the kinda guy Safal is; he may seem shy and soft-spoken on the outside, but when you take a step further and really dig deep down, you can put those same metaphorical ear-buds on and find yourself on a journey full of wit, enthusiasm, and enormous pride. The man is a true hero, a hidden gem if you will, maybe even a needle in a haystack for comparison. Safal will do big things, and go great places, but to fully understand the legend that is Safal Dumre, you just have to meet him yourself.
