Tobias Cox - Assignment 10 - Do you know your neighbor?

    I wouldn't say that we have a seating chart, but in general I do sit in the same general area each day. Most of the time, I sit by Nick Falk. Nick is a very nice individual who, while being very quiet, is very funny and insightful sometimes. He doesn't do much other than what needs to be done, and there is something calming and comforting about a person who doesn't go over the top in the same way that he does not. We have known each other since we sat by each other in English freshman year, and unlike some others, Nick won't ever leave your side once you meet him. I can always rely on him to be there if and when I need him. I certainly would not say he is intimidating, and I am sure that no one on this planet would either. He knows quite a bit more about entertainment and movies than anyone else and constantly mentions how he is perpetually disappointed by the Academy's lack of awareness of these sorts of things, myself included. I would characterize him as the color brown, because he is very simple, but he is the kind of calming person you would want to surround yourself with, sort of like how it seems like every wall in the world is painted brown. I see him as a movie critic in five years, and he is a lot like a dog - very loyal.
