Assignment 9 Shalom Saldana

As destructive as war is there is a time for it. Sometimes a country has to put its foot down to gain the respect of others. Sometimes a country has to stand up against the bully. No one goes to war for the fun of it. Whenever war happens it falls to the side of the lesser of two evils. Depending on your moral compass one might consider certain situations morally correct for. Putting the lives of a handful at stake to spare to the rest sounds but why scarification any lives at all.  One would think that a plan ensuring the safety of everyone without putting anyone's  life at risk would be the best option but that's not always possible. Sometimes it does become a responsibility for the country to go to war. The country is being threatened by division has a duty to protect itself and its people. If the country being invaded doesn't attack back they put their peoples lives at risk and will most likely lose the respect of other countries.  Respect is important factor with establishing a relationship between one country to another or even a group of countries. No country wants to be the kid who gets picked on at the playground. As of alternatives to war I personally don't think there is one other than avoiding war entirely. Definition had another card if they could put on the table that doesn't involve a death toll I'm sure they'd  play it.when a nation goes to war the best they can wish for is minimal casualties and economic boost the country usually experiences during increasing military production.
