I will be answering the prompt from Blog 6: If you could be any animal, which one would you be? and why?
There are many animals in the animal kingdom. Some extinct, some endangered, and some flat out thriving. As species evolve, gems are created. These products of natural selection, coupled with environmental factors, make these animals virtually unstoppable in their innate habits of eating, drinking, relieving themselves, and reproducing. If I could be one animal I would be a dolphin. Specifically a bottle nosed dolphin in the Southern part of the Pacific, where the water is tropical and warm, and the fish are tasty. Such areas have abundant coral and fish, mostly isolated from human influence. Dolphins get to swim around all day, without responsibilities such as school and sports. They are intellectually capable of forming companionship, so I would swim around with some fellow dolphin friends. Dolphins' capacity to think allows them to outsmart potential predators. As a dolphin, I imagine eating lavishly, as my hunting skills would be that of an apex predator. It's basically unlimited sushi. Dolphins live care free lives and always have smiles on their dolphin faces. The best part? Swimming to beaches and pretending to be a shark just for reactions.
