Assignment 11 Shalom Saldana

As ridiculous as it sounds what scares me the most is failure. Not just failing a test your class but failing at life. Failing to accomplish my overall goal. Not reaching that pivotal point in success that you had build yourself up for. It may seem  unlikely but one never knows what life has in store. In our society everyone is condition to work their ass off their entire life from the day they're born to the day they croak. We are institutionalized for the first two decades of our lives and become slaves to a system of numbers in letter grades. We have standardized test shoved down our throat's before we can even begin to fully understand how the questions it sit for us what shape our scholastic future.  What even after years of having our minds cut to fit the universal mold we are finally given the choice to decide our own future. But unfortunately sometimes even though students were destined to succeed get backhanded by life. Either their career choice didn't work, Maybe they drowned in student debt, or maybe their life just fell apart and there was nothing they could do about it. After all those years of working hard and sleepless nights life can still kick you to the curb and give you the finger and that's what I fear most. Sometimes our lives just go up in flames but there's no fire extinguisher in sight.
