Assignment 7-TD

September 12th, 1990. A treaty was signed by East and West Germany and the Allies of World War II allowing for the restoration of sovereignty to a re-unified Germany.The 'Four' renounced all rights they held in Germany allowing for a united Germany to become fully sovereign. This was a good event. It lessened the imperialism in the world and allowed for a world super power to rise. Germany would rise triumphantly as they always do and become the #1 country in Europe. I don't have any personal connections to this event. My grandfather was in WWII but I do not feel many emotions about that. I do not like war and neither did my grandfather, he simply went as he had to. My father and mother I know would definitely have strong opinions on this as they grew up in Soviet controlled Mongolia. The signing of this treaty occurred around the same time Mongolia broke off from being a Soviet satellite and this treaty definitely would have had influences on the events in Mongolia.
