Then idea of good and evil is something that we like to believe has an absolute definition to. However good and evil all comes down to your perspective and situation. Lets say that a cop killer is killed by another man. We would naturally think that since the man killed the cop killer he should be rewarded and praised. However, through the law the man would be labeled as a murderer regardless and he would then be sentenced to prison. To us, the man had good intentions, but it was also wrong, therefore he deserved the punishment. Lets take a look at another example. If US soldiers decided to raid the house of operations for Al Qaeda, we would view it as something that has good intentions as well as for the right reason. However if we view this situation from the eyes of someone who supports Al Qaeda and their views, we would think this as something that was evil and wrong. Overall I think that the idea of good and evil are connected and one can't exist without the other because both rely on perspective and it is also impossible to get rid of one or the other. However I also think that the idea of good and evil are not correlated to the idea of right and wrong.
