Children often say they want to grow up to be an
astronaut, doctor, e.t.c. How do your career goals now compare to those of the
younger you?

As high school students we often find ourselves
running out of time to do things that we used to have the time to do. What are
some of the activities that you used to do a lot? Do you miss doing these
things? If you had the time, would you continue doing these things?

If you could score the soundtrack of your life,
what songs would you choose?

I remember in kindergarten we had to draw
pictures of what we wanted to be when we grew up. I only remember drawing a
picture of a police officer and a baseball player. Over time, this evolved, and
in the fourth grade I decided that I wanted to be an architect after I went on
a field trip to Williamsburg and was amazed by the architecture. I stuck with this
career path through middle school. Once I got in high school I was really
forced into begin to think about what career I really want to get serious
about. Now I’m considering a career in engineering. As a kid I chose some grand
profession but as time went on, I began to choose a more realistic goal.
