Nick Falk assignment 4

In this photograph it showed the hardships that were faced in the Vietnam War. As it is the Vietnam War was one of the most gruesome wars America had ever fought in. To make things worse was the war was not over for the soldiers when they got home. They were not treated with the utmost respect that we view our military today. With the protest of the Vietnam War, these soldiers were treated horribly by their neighbors. It makes me very upset when I think of the treatment of the Vietnam veterans because the protest only hurt those who risked their lives during that time, and disrespected those who gave up their lives during that war. I could not imagine what it would feel like when you get home from war where you risked your life for that country you loved only to find that they resent you for doing so. It is very sickening to me that these veterans were treated so horribly.
