Assignment 3- Saurav Khadka

First of all, we should all know there is a difference between good vs evil and right vs wrong. Good people make the wrong choices sometimes but that does not make them evil, and vice versa. There is always the right thing to do and the wrong thing to do, but there isn't always good and evil with a sharply dividing line. We read cases of people stealing medicine to save a family member's life in very poor countries because they simply could not afford it and there are no government subsidies to help them. Of course morality and law tells us stealing is the wrong thing to do, but does that make the person evil for trying to save someone's life because there was no other way to do so? I don't think so. So not unlike most things, there is a gray area to this matter and one can never truly wipe out the other. There will always be good people in this earth, like the guy in Australia who lives by a cliff and has convinced countless people attempting suicide to not do so and restore faith in them, and there will always be evil people in this earth, like the guy who raised the price of a drug many depend on for survival from $13.50 to $750 overnight.

Now more than ever, we live in a time when we see everyday horrific things happening across the world, from the atrocious behavior we see from ISIS in the Middle East and Africa to nature's plight that befalls people across the globe. We see people's true character at times like these. And occasionally, when it seems like there is only evil in this world, we see that there is still some good left in this world. Like this one:
