Assignment 5- John Felty

Personally, I watch TV as a way to pass time. I usually turn on the TV while I am doing homework, like I have it on right now. Sometimes I don’t even pay attention to the show, other times I’ll fall asleep while it’s on. But, sometimes I genuinely care what I’m watching. I really enjoy watching TV shows like Friends, How I Met Your Mother, Friday Night Lights, and the Office. I binge-watched all of these shows on Netflix, and then re-watched all of them. What made these TV shows appealing to me was the humor and the wonderful story telling (except for the ending of How I Met Your Mother). It doesn’t take much for me to get into a good TV show, as long as it stays interesting. A different genre of TV show that I enjoy watching is super hero based TV shows, like the Flash, Arrow, and Daredevil. These shows appeal to me because they are action packed and are full of exciting plot twists. But, whether I care about the show or not, I always watch TV to spend time.
