zachary langdon 18 systems of buckets

Nih school
  • Resolve the moldability of Neoutilitarianism
    • This is the critical flaw with my ethical guidelines, they are too flexible. While perfect in theory, it realistically allows for multiple – potentially bad – outcomes as it required consequences assessment that is easily skewed to fit preference. Resolving this must be accomplished for such pliability leaves it exposed to societal shifts, undermining its end.
  • Marvel at existence of things
  • Succeed within the system

Carrege
  • Try to practice Neoutilitarianism
    • I will care about things. What they will are and have been I cannot know (see future). Hopefully I will have a upholdable moral theory to guide me in my caring
  • Understand more systems.
  • Succeed within the system
Strife
  • Embrace the uncertainty of existence
    •  Chiefly I must conclude that I am so unlikely to know if I know, that all attempts at discerning knowledge have too high an ability to fail to be relied upon. All knowledge is pragmatic belief.
  • Marvel at the passage of time
  • Change the system so it succeeds
