assignment 19 Nick Falk

My dad told me he wasn’t the person he used to be. He told me he used to quit things in times of distress or discomfort. He wouldn’t fight for anything, and would cower from uncomfortable circumstances. He told me that I could to be like him, and that I mustn’t go through the struggle he had to go through. He told me to never quit what I’m dong and take people’s negative criticism and opinion as much as a grain of sand. This has effected in the choices I have made throughout my life. One example would be my work experience this summer. A lot of people told me I was too young to work in that field. Even close friends of mine said I could not handle the workload ad made a silly game out of the thought of me quitting. However, I made it through the summer and the only reason why I quit was the beginning of the school year.
