Assignment 20 - Caitlin Southworth

How to make a chicken quesadilla

First get some chicken, chicken breasts work good, but most any chicken would probably work, then cook it in the oven or skillet until cooked thoroughly- uncooked chicken does not lead to good things. Then cut the chicken into little cube pieces and add taco seasoning, either a mix of your own seasonings or you can buy it from the store- like old el paso taco seasoning. Then in a separate skillet, place a tortilla, add chicken and shredded cheese to half of the quesadilla and fold the empty half over top. Cook on medium heat and flip over once the bottom of the quesadilla gets as crispy as you want it to be. Take it off the skillet once the cheese is melted and the tortilla is cooked to the level you desire. Then cut the quesadilla into good sized pieces and eat it. You can add tomatoes or anything that tastes good with quesadillas.
