Nick Walters Assignment 9

I think that there is a time for war. If a country is being oppressed, the country that is opressing them won't stop just because. War is inevitable in this situation. They wont back off because of a treaty or anything else, they will only back off when the oppressed nation fights back. I wish that this world could function without war, but it simply cannot. The greatest countries in this world emerged through war, and keep their power through military dominance.

Something that some European countries do is they have every citizen go through military training. what this does is it gives that nation a respect for soldiers in the military, making the nation less likely to engage in war. This saves that nation many lives and it stops nations from engaging in unnecessary conflict. implementing this into other nations could lead to a safer world with less conflicts and less war.
