Assignment 13- Daryn Smith

The world is heating up. From California to Australia temperatures are rising. Glaciers are melting; sea levels are rising, putting small areas of land under water. Soon, this will be large areas, and maybe eventually entire continents. "How do we stop this?" you may ask. Well, I have a solution. If our issue is that the world is heating up and so many are denying it, we must first remove such denial and second cool the earth down. If you know someone who doesn't believe in global warming, sit them down and have a calm, one-on-one chat about why they are wrong. If they remain insistent, take them to a counselor who will either convince them climate change is real or deem them hopeless and isolate them along with the rest of the nonbelievers. Ignorance will not be tolerated or forgiven. Once all who deny global warming are out of the picture, we can actually take steps to cool the earth down. On a hot day, something that tends to do the trick and cool me down is a fan. I propose that whenever we step outside, we bring a handheld or larger fan with us and blow it on the earth as we travel. It is important that everyone participate, for only a few will not make enough of a difference. Entire towns, states, countries, continents must use their fans to stop the earth from heating up. If everyone does participate, it is inevitable that earth will feel the desired relief and be able to cool down, resultantly saving our planet from the dangers that come with climate change.
