Howdy - Grace Bond

My name is Victoria Bond but I go by Grace, my middle name. There is no significance behind it; I was named after the Liz Tyler character in the movie Armageddon because my mom saw it at 3 A.M. a month before I was born and thought it was cute. I was born on September 18, 2000 and I have lived in Lexington my entire life, but hope to move away as soon as I can. I never set specific personal goals because I am always trying to be a better version of myself, and that includes several smaller goals every day. My academic goals for this year, however, are to get all A's(unlike previous years) and become better at writing. Believe it or not, I'm not just saying that because my English teacher will be reading this. If I could have one super power, it could be to read minds. Many people try to argue the downsides to that power, but as long as I could control when I was reading minds and whose minds I was reading, I think it could be interesting. If placed in the wrong hands, that power would cause several issues, but I trust myself to know when it is or is  not appropriate to use it. A question I don't think is asked enough is "What is your favorite feeling?" I believe the reason no one thinks of that question is because one would assume your favorite feeling is happiness(you know, since that means you're happy). But not me. I would have to say my favorite feeling would actually be sadness. That sounds so dark, but it really is a useful feeling. When I am upset, I begin to realize the things that truly do make me happy, and appreciate all of the good things I have in my life. Basically, my favorite feeling is sadness because it reminds me why I should be happy(wow so deep). I'll ignore the question about my summer because I've already had to answer it in my five other classes and the prompt simply said to 'consider' the idea. Its been considered, and I decided against answering it. When I grow up (as if i haven't already been forced to), I want to do something medical or involving medical technologies, such as pharmacy, neurology, or some sort of specialty surgeon. In a perfect world, I would become a neurosurgeon. It's not that I don't think I could do it because I lack the skills it requires, but residency programs for neurosurgery are among the most difficult to be accepted into. Also, I wouldn't begin my own practice until my early 30's, which means my life may not be able to take off until then.

But here at Henry Clay, you'll find me as the KUNA Coordinator of Y-Club and a member of Beta Club and KEY Club. This year I also hope to become involved in Young Dems.

Here is a picture of a picture (the best kinds of pictures). It is from the camp I went to over the summer.

One picture is just not enough, so here is Harambe, my favorite angel.

My favorite website would have to be www.urbandictionary.com because lets be real who has time to keep up with all of the slang these days?
