When people say that technology hasn't affected them in a positive way they are lying, as the opportunities achieved through technology make living in a modern world not only manageable, but also simple. With the movement of a few fingers and the click of a button, one can deliver a message to anywhere in the world (where there is internet connection). In my opinion, that is a lot easier than delivering a message by horse or boat. Furthermore, information is at my disposal whenever I wish. A few weeks ago, I learned how to make lobster sashimi from some Japanese guy on Youtube. The internet and technology improves the quality of work and competition because anybody can learn from the experts whenever they wish and machinery makes jobs more efficient to do. Personally, I enjoy being always connected to my friends. Social media and communication modes such as texting allow me to talk with them when they are not with me. Although some argue this can lead to lack of social skills and problems such as cyber bullying, I think it is not technologies fault but rather the peoples fault for not actively fixing any issues. Overall, it is a huge aid to people in our world today.
