Assignment 2- Ellie Phillips

The type of technology that I find to be an inconvenience is mainly social media. I mean this type of technology isn’t necessarily bad, but on a larger scale, which seems to be typical these days, it gets to be an inconvenience and distract from the real world. For this reason, I don’t have social media-Twitter, Instagram, Facebook. I see my friends get upset about likes and followers, which I believe is an unnecessary drama. People can get too wrapped up in social media and just waste time on it. If it wasn’t as prevalent in our society, then it would not have as strong a negative impact as it does now. Because I don’t have social media, I haven’t been exposed to any harm through technology. However, I have actually been physically hurt by technology because someone accidentally threw a phone at me and gave me a black eye. Overall though, I think technology is much more than social media, and thus it has a greater of a positive impact than negative.
