Sadie Marsh- Assignment 1: Howdy!

Hi, I am Sadie Marsh. I have lived in Lexington, Kentucky my whole life. I live with my parents and my two siblings- Sara-Grace, 14 and Benjamin,12. I was born on Independence Day in 2000.
This summer I helped at an awesome camp at Breckinridge Elementary (FACE Camp). We got to help ESL (English as a second language) students grow and reach their grade level academically and socially. I was in a group with six kids who had just finished 1st grade but, I also got to help out with over 60 students entering 1st grade through 6th. The most meaningful moment of my summer was working with them. On the last day, when they got on the bus to go home, all the volunteers lined up and we waved as the bus pulled away. The kids were screaming our names and we promised to visit. I am going to surprise one little boy for his birthday later this week. I hope to go to college and get a degree in ESL education.
I am a gigantic U.S. President fan and I hope to visit all of their houses and historical sites someday. In my room I have countless books (that I’ve read) about history and presidents. I hope this information will help me in APUSH. Other things I like to do are play Sudoku and Monopoly as well as color.
My favorite website is: https://colormandala.com/
Below is a picture of my dog.
