Assignment 1: Ellie Phillips

Hi, I’m Ellie Phillips. Personally this year, I hope to be successful with Dance Blue by making it a record year in fundraising. Academically, I hope to perform well on the ACT and also in my hardest classes: AP Physics and AP Spanish. Though I don’t know if I will achieve my goals, I am the type of person that works hard to make it at least possible. I had an eventful summer. Beginning in Zion National Park, next going to Cornell to take an animal science class, and then immediately home to begin Henry Clay soccer two-a-days. With so much that happened, it’s hard to decide my single favorite moment, so I’m going to bend the rules here. In Zion, my favorite moment was canyoneering into crevices and eventually into Lake Powell. Luckily I don’t have a fear of heights because a few drops were over 100 feet. In Cornell, my favorite moment, was sticking my hand inside a fistulated cow, which is basically a cow with a hole in the side of its stomach. If I had a superpower, I would like it to be the ability to control water. I have no clue why this one, except for the fact that it would be a useful superpower for helping others. Netflix.com is my favorite website, I use it often, honestly too often, but oh well.
