However the changes may not just be negative for me; they would also be positive. For instance, my mother could no longer use the tracking feature on my phone to locate me at any time she deems necessary, allowing me to feel a little more free and a little less like a character in "1984", which is obvious why this is preferable. I also would be less distracted by my cellular device in uncomfortable social situations so I would be forced to be more social; this could be a bad thing in some cases though. Overall though my life would be harder without the devices I so heavily rely on today, but more than likely it would be more fun and less stressful.

Assignment 2: iWrite
When I am supposed to be doing something I typically get somewhat distracted and my mind starts to drift to other areas than what my task is. One of these areas is wondering what my life would be like had I been born twenty or so years earlier than I was and how my life would be different. When thinking about this I always notice I would have no cell phone or computer, and none of the perks of those devices. I would not be able to shoot a friend a text or call my mother when in need of her assistance. So my communication with others would be very different due to the lack of access. I also would not be able to sit at home to complete a research assignment or type a paper, I would have to go to library or get an encyclopedia, which is way more work than I find myself doing today.
