Tobias Cox - Assignment 1 - Howdy!
Hello, my name is Tobias Cox. I am the oldest of six children, all of which are under the age of ten years. I am a pretty normal person, being born in Lexington Kentucky and not really having any weird quirks. I like to think am a relatively self sufficient person, achieving if for no other reason than to achieve. I like to succeed and have the pride that comes along with trying as hard as I can in everything. Therefore, my goal is to keep up the 4.0 and get 5's on all five AP classes that I am taking this year. To be entirely honest, the thing I enjoy to do most is to share my life with the people around me - I love listening to people and making them laugh. As a result of being so emotionally invested in everyone around me, I tend to go through defining moments along with them. I would say the moment that defined me the most this summer was when I realized how much my siblings really rely upon me to define how they are. I noticed a lot, during this time, about how they have really taken and done the same things that I do. I would like to believe and think that that is a good thing, but I had better surely keep doing the right thing, or who would they model themselves after? Another defining moment came for me this summer when I began to pay for things myself and working for my money. It sure has succeeded in making me a cheaper and more reserved person, but I still try to help people in any way I can.
Earlier I said that I was a relatively normal person who didn't really take an abnormal amount of interest in anything. This is not entirely true. I am a very avid observer and like to be very engaged in the political process. Now, I am not involved enough to actually take part in activism and things, but I enjoy reading a lot about it all and am very interested in government. I think it is obnoxious that some people our age don't even care about who will (probably) still be president when we are trying to work our way through graduate school! As a result I would have to say my favorite website is a political commentary website, and since I like to opinions and things that line up with my own, I enjoy www.breitbart.com. If I could have any superpower in the world, it would be able to understand what everyone around me was thinking, because then there would never be any uncertainties, and I would know even more!
Since I am a little bit gossipy and I also feel like other people I talk to are as well, I am including this picture:
Also it made me laugh as hard as can be because it just explained my friends and I so well.
