Assignment 2- iWrite- John Felty

Technology is constantly changing and new discoveries are made every day. Whether its cell phones, bio-sciences, or even our cars, new technology continues to be made. In the next decade, I predict that the three things that I just listed will have been drastically changed, being much different than we know them to be today. Over the next ten years I believe that home phones will be obsolete as more people will switch to just cell phones. Many people have already made this transition due to the more accessible and improved technology in today’s cell phones. Who knows how much more improved cell phones will be in the future? Also, I predict that in relation to bio-sciences, prosthetic limbs will be fully functional as active, working limbs for those who have lost theirs. Great strides have already come in this field, and technology is so close to creating working robotic limbs. Lastly, I predict that cars made in the future will have some sort of autopilot technology. Early examples of this have already been introduced on the market, but they have their flaws and have caused a few accidents. But, in the future, I believe that this technology will be wide spread in many new cars on the market.
