Assignment 24- Saurav Khadka

Junior year was a blur. What happened? I don't know if I can quite remember it myself. Junior year was definitely the most important year of high school. The standardized tests, the last year of grades before college applications, the increasing role in our various clubs/activities, our affiliated sports. All of it. On top of all of this, a growing sense of independence with the receiving of our drivers licenses and cars, getting jobs, and gaining more autonomy. Academically, this year was a success for me; I maintained my desired grades, obtained good test scores. This year athletically was a failure; I didn't achieve my goals that I had put forth for myself in tennis or in cross country. One important lesson I learned and practiced more this year than ever before was putting myself out there more. I had always been constrained to myself and one friend group before this year. However, this year I began interacting with more people and making new friends and being more socially involved. Lots of mistakes were (almost) made with procrastinating. Every single Unit Assignment was done the morning they were due; it was a disaster waiting to happen. This summer, I am going to attend GSP and travel Florida. I also want to learn Spanish over the summer. Next year, I want to spend time with friends and family and celebrate our close ties before parting for college
