Assignment 20: How to...-Jake Tucker

One of the hardest things to do is cope with your team losing in the NCAA tournament, and especially when you feel as though they were unfairly judged along the way. As I type this, I too am experiencing these emotions. This being the result of my beloved Kentucky Wildcats losing 75-73 to a team that can count neither to 75 nor 73. Luckily, I have a system for getting over such heartbreak.

Step one is to scream and yell in an angry manner for about a minute after the game, this helps to ease the immediate aftermath of losing on a "buzzer-beater." Step two is to console yourself by saying the officiating crew called a terrible game, even though they did their "best." Step three is to stay off the Internet as mean people from the Louisville area will be waiting for you there. Step four is to realize sports really don't matter as much as they do in the moment, and that you should move on.
